This campout is held in Wildwood, NJ right on the beach. Every year, hundreds of Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts camp on the “sugar sand” beaches of Wildwood for a weekend and enjoy the sun, boardwalk and various rides and attractions at Morey’s Piers. Scouts buddy up and enjoy a day of fun down the shore (although nobody swims because the event usually takes place in late-spring when it’s too cold to swim). Troop 236 generally goes on this trip every other year due to the travel time and cost, but it’s tons of fun every time we go.
