In 2000, the troop sent scouts down to Camp Davy Crockett in Tennessee for a week of summer camp. At the camp, scouts and adult leaders sailed to an island on Cherokee Lake and stayed there for three days camping in the wilderness. Then, the troop members went white water rafting down the Nolichucky River not once, but twice over two days. Unfortunately, the troop has yet to return to this exciting camp.
