The troop has visited the Coast Guard Academy and Mystic Seaport in southeastern Connecticut for years. The troop drives up and camps in tents at nearby Camp Tadma. At the academy, scouts and leaders get to tour the facilities and explore the buildings. At Mystic Sea Port, scouts and leaders learn about the United States’ Maritime History.
